Charter Oak Broadleaf Toro Cigar - Single Cigar
An homage to Foundation Cigar Company’s home state of Connecticut, the Charter Oak Broadleaf truly has achieved what was deemed impossible, and truly has turned a large part of the cigar market on its head. Lines at this price point are usually produced with lower quality tobacco from less sought after farms, fermented for a shorter period. Not the Charter Oak. Charter Oak uses tobacco from the same farms and indeed many of the same plants as other Foundation cigars, with one key difference. Charter Oak uses predominantly seco in its blend. Seco has a much higher yield than any other part of the tobacco plant, meaning per plant and per cigar, many more usable leaves are produced per individual plant. This ultimately reduces the cost for the consumer whilst maintaining the same quality. This quality really shines through in the rich, aromatic profile present. The true Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper crowns this market-breaker beautifully, giving great depth of sweetness present to the immediate palate.
