Growing up in West Tampa, surrounded by the legacy of once-thriving cigar factories, Rick absorbed the values of hard work, resilience, and respect for the craft. His journey eventually led him to study under industry legends, most notably Benji Menendez, whose mentorship helped shape Rick into one of the most respected blenders in the modern cigar industry.

With decades of experience behind him, Rick established West Tampa Tobacco Company with a clear vision: to produce exceptional handcrafted cigars rooted in tradition, quality, and authenticity.

The West Tampa Tobacco Co. White Robusto is one of two debut blends released by Rick Rodriguez under the West Tampa name. This cigar showcases a more refined yet flavour-forward profile, highlighting balance, elegance, and expert blending.

Finished with a beautiful Ecuador Habano “Light Pink” wrapper, the White Robusto features a fully aged Nicaraguan core, including an Ometepe binder and fillers from Condega and Estelí.
